  • Ye Jiao Teng, He Huan Hua, and Bai Zi Ren all treat insomnia, but Ye Jiao Teng corrects insomnia due to blood deficiency while He Huan Hua is best for insomnia caused by LV qi stagnation. Bai Zi Ren is best for insomnia due to HT deficiency.
  • Ye Jiao Teng is for depression due to blood stagnation, while He Huan Hua is for depression due to Qi stagnation. For depression with phlegm choose Yuan Zhi, while blood deficiency depression is best treated with He Huan Pi.
