Gou Ji - Gouging
Gouging out the LV and KD is a sacrificial
art at the elemental temple of wind and water.
The priests believe that gouging them properly and then eating them immediately
will stabilize their KD essence.
But if you look at the priests carefully you will see they suffer from sleepless
nights (cc: yin deficient heat).

Gou Ji Actions and Indications
- Dispels wind-damp bi; Tonifies LV and KD; Strenghtens Bones
and Tendons (stiff / sore or weak back, inability to lay down
without pain, wind-damp painful bi with pain or numbness; lower extremities,
swelling of legs after illness)
- Stabilizes KD essence (spermatorrhea, mild effect
for urinary incontinence or vaginal discharge)

Special Notes:
- In one study 213 patients were treated for post tooth-extraction bleeding with good results using a gou ji applied topically.
