Bu Gu Zhi - Boo Goozer
Boo Goozer was an old hick who believed that retaining
his urine (by drinking it!) would help him to retain
his essence and fortify KD yang to live forever!
He would even put urine on his ice cream which eventually caused some
cold SP and uncontrollable diarrhea. Boo
Goozer claimed that recycling his own urine helped to "aid
the kidney to grasp more qi" and keep his skin
young. Most said that other than the diarrhea
or borborgymus Boo was an alright guy.
But Boo wasn't careful and developed sleepless nights with constipation (cc: yin deficiency with heat or constipation)

- Aids KD to grasp Qi (asthma due to Kidney qi deficiency)
- Treats skin problems (topical use for alopecia, psoriasis, vitiligo)

Special Notes:
- Pharmacologically Bu Gu Gu Zhi has been found to dilate the coronary artery, to have antibiotic properties, to have marked anti-asthmatic properties, to relax and stimulate smooth muscle in the intestines, and to inhibit DNA synthesis of cancer cells.
- Combined with Ge jie and Dong chong xia cao for asthma
- Combined with Yi Zhi Ren to tonify the KD and consolidate essence
